The 10th Annual Meeting of the Prairie Political Science Association will be held in Banff, Alberta, Canada from September 15th to 17th, 2017.

The spectacular Kinnear Centre at the Banff Centre, its professional staff and meeting organizers offer an unparalleled conference experience in a breathtaking setting. On-site accommodation, sophisticated audio-visual equipment, and day-long catering services help you maintain your focus. Easy interaction with colleagues in cafes, bars, and restaurants at the Centre and in Banff promote the exchange of ideas. Extensive exercise facilities, a pool, and access to the great outdoors add another dimension to what is always a welcoming, productive, and enlivening conference. Onsite childcare will be available, but please add a note to proposals identifying the need.

Proposals from all fields making use of any of the methods of political science are welcome. Submit a single paper proposal via our online form. Generally, the conference program offers the following sections: Provincial Politics, Canadian Politics, Comparative Politics, Political Thought, International Relations, Public Policy/Administration, and Teaching and Learning.

The PPSA conference has also often been used to bring together groups of researchers working on a common project. Proposals for single panel or multi-panel workshops on a particular theme are welcome. All workshop proposals should be made via email to PanelProposal@prairiepsa.com. Be sure to include the names and affiliations of presenters at the panel as well as the abstracts for their presentation.

Deadline for both paper and panel proposals is extended to April 21.

Any questions about the conference can be directed to Jim Farney at jim.farney@uregina.ca
