International Law Summer Institute


The Balsillie School of International Affairs in conjunction with the International Law Research Program of the Centre for International Governance Innovation will run it 3rd Annual International Law Summer Institute in the week of 15 -19 May 2017. The program is intended to provide graduate students studying global governance and related topics with an introduction to public international law and associated processes and institutions, as well as provide students with access to leading international law researchers. The program is designed for students who do not have a background in law.

There is no fee to attend the program; students who fulfil the requirements of the program will be given a certificate of completion. Participants will be expected to fund their own travel and accommodation. However, stipends to assist with these expenses may be available. Applications to attend the Summer Institute in Waterloo, ON are due by March 31, 2017.
